PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connecting structure of metal roofing, improving executability of work by fixing the metal roofing to a main house through a splicing fitting by a short self-drilling screw.SOLUTION: This connecting structure of metal roofing includes: a metal roofing 21 in which heat insulating material 24 is integrated between a metal upper plate 22 provided with half-mountain parts 21a, 21b formed at both sides and a lower plate 23, one side lower part of which is provided with an engagement projection 21e, the other side lower part thereof being provided with an engagement recessed part 21f engaged with the engagement projection; a splicing fitting 25, which is L-shaped and jointly fastened and fixed to the main house 30, with a horizontal part 25a placed on the engagement projection, by the self-drilling screw 26, and a vertical part 25b of which abuts on the heat insulating material and extends upward, so that a locking part 25d at the upper end locks the heat insulating material of the adjacent metal roofing; locking parts 22c, 22d formed by extending upward the upper plate 22 above the half-mountain parts with upper ends thereof turned back toward the half-mountain parts; and a cap 27 mounted to the locking parts of the half-mountain parts to which the adjacent metal roofing abuts so that locking parts 27b thereof are locked on the lower ends of the locking parts of the half-mountain parts. |
