<p>The hammer has two hammer shells (12) that are connected with each other by rotational joints. Both hammer shells form an anchor rod guiding cylinder that is arranged in the hammer. The hammer shells have locking elements which come together in working connection. The hammer shells are rigidly connected with each other in closed condition. An independent claim is also included for a method for striking-out anchor rods.</p>
