PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device etc. that displays a character clearly with a low load at a desired position, according to designation from a terminal device.SOLUTION: A projector 100 as a display device includes: a reception part 110 for receiving character information showing a character and a display position of the character from a cellular phone 200 as a terminal device; a storage part 120 for storing display area data 122 showing a display area or non-display area of the character; a determination part 130 for determining a display method of the character corresponding to the display position based on character information and the display area data 122; a display side image generation part 140 for generating a character image including the character according to the display method, based on determination by the determination part 130, the display area data 122 and the character information; and a projection part 190 for projecting the character image. |
