PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor having a photosensitive layer which is improved in charge transporting properties and suppressed in surface roughness compared with the case where a charge transporting material does not contain an isomer having substituted hydroxyl groups in a predetermined range.SOLUTION: The electrophotographic photoreceptor includes a photosensitive layer (for example, a charge transporting layer or a monolayer type photosensitive layer) containing, as a charge transporting material, at least one kind of compound expressed by a general formula (P1) and a benzidine compound, and containing an isomer of at least one kind of the compound expressed by the general formula (P1) and the benzidine compound having a substituted hydroxyl group, by 0.05 to 0.12 mass% with respect to the charge transporting material. |
