摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle controller for suppressing deterioration in drivability, when a braking-on operation is executed during a regenerative coast gear shift period.SOLUTION: The device (100) controls a vehicle (1) including a rotating electric machine (MG2) which can input/output torque between it itself and an input shaft (600), and a transmission (400), which includes at least one engaging constituent between the input shaft and an output shaft (700) coupled to an axle; and transmits torque between the input and output shafts and can change a gear shift ratio as a ratio between the rotating speed of the input shaft and the rotating speed of the output shaft, depending on the engaging state of the engaging constituent. The device includes a detecting means capable of detecting a braking operation; and a regenerative control means for suppressing an increase in regenerative torque of the rotating electric machine during a coast regenerative gear shifting period, when a braking-on operation as the braking operation is detected during the coast regenerative gear shifting period in which the transmission is shifted down in the coast regeneration of the vehicle.
