PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To safely, simply and reliably attach and detach a nut.SOLUTION: The prevention structure 1 for spanner dropping is approximately structured in such arrangement that while a spanner 3 is fitted with the nut 5 screwed on a bolt 4, a press fitting 6 is screwed on a tip of the bolt 4 and held by the spanner 3 via an annular elastic member 7. A disk-like member 8 of the press fitting 6 includes an internal threaded part 11 formed at the center and screwed on the tip of the bolt 4 and a pressing part 12 formed along a periphery for pressing a side face of an annular fitting part of the spanner 3 via the annular elastic member 7.
