PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a phosphor-conversion type semiconductor light-emitting element that is suitable for use application requiring large output and has excellent emission efficiency by improving a semiconductor light-emitting element which arranges an optical filter on the light extraction side of a wavelength conversion layer containing a phosphor.SOLUTION: The semiconductor light-emitting element is equipped with: the following components in the following order toward the light extraction direction: that is, a light-emitting diode chip (A) that emits primary light having a first wavelength; a wavelength conversion layer (B) that contains a phosphor for absorbing the primary light so as to emit secondary light having a second wavelength different from the first wavelength; and an optical filter (C) that has a higher reflectivity with respect to the secondary light than that of with respect to the primary light. A part of the primary light emitted by the light-emitting diode chip is made incident to the optical filter without being completely diffused. |
