PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for producing a tire model capable of obtaining an accurate simulation result while reducing the time required for modeling a thin groove.SOLUTION: The depth of a three dimensional thin groove formed in a pneumatic tire being a target of performance prediction is obtained, and the depth is converted into a conversion depth. Further, a model of a two dimensional thin groove having the conversion depth D2 is formed in a unit block model, S34. The load is given to the unit block model, and the simulation for causing a slip is performed. Thus, a ground contact area and an edge pressure of the unit block model when the slip occurs are estimated, S35. |
