A multimedia message center and a method for adjusting the processing capability of the multimedia message center are disclosed. Compared with an original multimedia message center, a computation proxy module and a scheduling center module are added to the multimedia message center; the computation proxy module is used for collecting traffic processed in real time by service processors; the scheduling center module is used for receiving the real-time traffic, which is sent by the computation proxy module, of the service processors, and adjusting the processing capability of the multimedia message center dynamically according to the real-time traffic obtained currently. The invention adjusts correspondingly the processing capability of the multimedia message center according to its traffic state, thereby improves the machine utilization of the multimedia message center efficiently, and achieves the purpose of decreasing the operation and maintenance cost of operator, saving energy and decreasing ejection. |
