<p>The machine has a water bucket (12), and cleaning grid provided at a relative distance to an electrically operated lateral press during pressing operation such that the press presses a flexible side of a sponge board (11) against the grid. The press includes an electromotor (1) and a press mechanism (2) that is driven by the electromotor. The mechanism comprises a gear box, which is driven by the electromotor, and an eccentric cam element that causes a holding structure for holding the board. A grip is reinforced with a metal layer, and a sponge board bottom is reinforced with a plastic layer. An independent claim is also included for a method for electrically cleaning a sponge board.</p> |
