PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power generator and a method of inspecting the power generator, capable of shortening power stoppage of the power generator for periodic maintenance work.SOLUTION: A power generator 1 comprises a stator 3 and a casing 2 that surrounds a rotor 4. The casing 2 has an opening section 5, through which inspection of the casing inside 7 of the power generator is inspected during operation of the power generator. The method includes inspection of the casing inside 7, through the opening section 5 of the casing 2 during operation of the power generator. |
