PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform IQ imbalance correction of both a transmitter and a receiver while maintaining a hardware scale.SOLUTION: An IQ imbalance correction method includes: transmitting a plurality of pairs of RF training signals in installments for each pair by pairing RF training signals at arrangement positions symmetric with respect to a center frequency (Fc) on a frequency axis; setting a reception local frequency to change in order to receive the plurality of pairs of RF training signals transmitted in installments for each pair and convert them into IF training signals, via an internal path that is not an external space; performing quadrature demodulation on the analog/digital converted IF training signals, respectively, in a digital circuit area to generate BB training signals; calculating a correction coefficient for IQ imbalance correction when demodulating the BB training signals in the digital circuit area, respectively; and performing IQ imbalance correction of a transmitter including a quadrature modulation function on the basis of the correction coefficient of an entire frequency domain. |
