The invention relates to a rotor excavator meant for excavations in sedimentary rocks of low and medium excavation resistance. According to the invention, the excavator comprises a chassis (1) with two rows of driving wheels (2) for the travel on tires and is fitted out with two cylindrical rotors (5) of vertical shaft which, in the area of the working face, rotate from outside to the longitudinal axis, assisted by a blade feeder (10) and a dozer-like blade (11) which also performs the loading of material on a rubber-belt conveyor (12) to remove it from the working face, the rotary drive being performed by compact hydraulic motor-reducing gear equipments with rotary casing, supplied from a combined pump-internal combustion engine equipment (17). |
