The method involves controlling a windscreen washing system in a normal operating phase triggered by a reception of an activation signal to convey a quantity of washing liquid taken by a pump (1) in a liquid tank (2) till a jet nozzle (3). Liquid in a portion of a liquid flowing path (4) located between the pump and a solenoid valve (6) i.e. electromagnetic sluice gate, of an activating system is preloaded by closing the solenoid valve to control an opening of the solenoid valve during triggering the washing system in the normal operating phase. An independent claim is also included for a windscreen washing system comprising a wiping system.
