Cyclopropyl compounds and compositions for delivering active agents

Disclosed herein are compositions and cyclopropyl carboxylic acids and esters of formula 1 wherein the substituents are as defined within the specification. Such compounds are useful for enhancing the drug delivery of biological active agents. Also disclosed are methods of administration, preparation and dosage units comprising said compounds.
