<p>Playing of user created content recorded in an STB device that uses an IPTV broadcasting service is controlled directly by other STB devices. Provided is a content distribution method for a content distribution system (100) comprising a plurality of STB devices (50) that receive distribution content to be presented by the IPTV broadcasting service, wherein an STB device (50) takes a content distributing step for distributing user created content to other STB devices (50) via an inter-STB-device communicating means for conducting communication with other STB devices (50), and a content viewing step for viewing distributed content and user created content. In the content viewing step, playback control of user created content is exercised directly upon the STB device (50) that retains the user created content, via the inter-STB-device communicating means.</p> |
