<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely prevent buckling deformation of sinuous springs and to provide a smooth contraction operation. <P>SOLUTION: A first sliding member 20A includes first spring engagement sections 22 with which one end 40a of the sinuous springs 40A, 40B engages, first spring housing sections which are mounted with the sinuous springs 40A, 40B, and first sliding guide sections 25 which are formed on both sides. A second sliding member 30A includes second spring engagement sections 32 with which the other end of the sinuous springs 40A, 40B engages, second spring housing sections 36A, 36B which are mounted with the sinuous springs 40A, 40B, and second sliding guide sections 35 which are formed on both sides. Each sliding member 20A, 30A is configured to slide relative to each other as the first and second sliding sections 25, 35 engage.
