<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor with a brake having a high positioning accuracy by removing effect of a magnetic field generated by an electromagnetic brake. <P>SOLUTION: The motor with the brake includes: a resolver being disposed between an output shaft and a housing and detecting the rotational position of the output shaft; and an electromagnetic brake means being disposed to a brake connecting shaft fixed to the output shaft and braking the rotation of a rotor. In the motor with the brake, a cover plate interrupting a magnetism is arranged irrotationally between the brake connecting shaft and the resolver while the brake connecting shaft includes a recess to a surface facing the resolver. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
