<p>The machine provides an automatic planning or thickness regulating facility for printed circuit boards carrying conducting tracks. The design is intended to reduce the complexity of component mounting operations and to allow the thickness of the conductor strips to be strictly controlled. Planing is carried out using a high rotating speed bit (2800 rp.m) which may be moved along both axes of the circuit board, boards of 85 mm x 180 mm and 105 mm x 108 mm can be accommodated using two electric motors and a reduction gearing to a worm drive at 170 rpm for the positioning mechanism. The table carrying the boards is pneumatically operated at 6kg/cm2.</p> |
