<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lower fuel cost by further improving energy efficiency, in a hybrid drive device having an internal combustion engine and a motor generator. <P>SOLUTION: A continuously variable transmission 35 is provided between the engine 20 and the motor generator 36, a first clutch 34 is provided between the engine 20 and the continuously variable transmission 35, and a second clutch 37 is provided between the motor generator 36 and a drive wheel. Based on vehicle speed, each control unit 51-55 cooperatively blocks the first clutch 34 and the second clutch 37, blocks the second clutch 37 while releasing a normal traveling mode at which a vehicle travels by at least the rotational drive of the engine 20, and releasing the first clutch 34, and switches a motor traveling mode at which the vehicle travels by the rotational force of the motor generator 36, and a first inertial traveling mode at which the hybrid vehicle travels by an inertia force by releasing the secure clutch 37. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
