<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that has a high degree of freedom in design such as the arrangement positions and size of toner hoppers. <P>SOLUTION: Each toner hopper 27 of a toner supply portion 4 and the developing device 9 of the image forming apparatus 2 are disposed separately below and above a transfer unit 3. A toner supply port 41 located in the rear of the toner supply portion 28 of the toner hopper 27 and a toner receiving portion 42 located in the rear of the developing device 9 are connected, via an inlet 43 and an outlet 44, by the four toner conveyance paths 45 of a toner conveyance unit 50 disposed so as to sneak in the rear of the transfer belt unit 3. To alter the disposed position and size of the toner hopper 27, the length of the connecting member 46 of the toner conveyance unit 50 is altered, thereby making the inlet 43 of the toner conveyance unit 50 correspond to the toner supply port 41 of the toner hopper 27. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
