PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a service which ensures reliable check therein and is highly convenient to viewers, in information distribution services using a storage medium. SOLUTION: A reception storage unit 11 comprises a storage channel management section 101 for managing a storage channel installed thereon and a relationship between the installed storage channel and an exclusive storage region, a reservation processing section 102 for performing reservation processing to receive information about the storage channel, a reception section 103 for receiving service configuration information describing at least one of a memory capacity to be secured in the reception storage unit, software necessary to use the storage channel, etc., and a storage management section 104 for storing and managing the received service configuration information and at the same time, managing a name for reference to the service configuration information and a name stored in the reception storage unit in association with each other.
