PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a perforation device forming a perforation with excellent accuracy from the desired perforation forming start position of a recording medium, and an image recording device with the perforation device mounted thereon. SOLUTION: The perforation device includes a perforation blade having a plurality of blades for forming the perforation in a recording medium, and an anvil roller arranged opposite to the perforation blade, and capable of forming the perforation in the recording medium passing through a space between the perforation blade and the anvil roller. The perforation device has a changing mechanism for executing the change between the first position at which the perforation blade is abutted on the recording medium and the second position at which the perforation blade is separated from the recording medium, and also has a stop-keeping mechanism for keeping the blade position of the perforation blade in the same state at the second position.
