PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain superior electromagnetic wave shielding performance of an electromagnetic wave shielding material over a wide frequency range while minimizing a blending amount of conductive fibers which are expensive and cause friction against a member, a metal mold, etc., of a molding machine. SOLUTION: An electromagnetic wave shielding material 10 has only conductive fibers 3 dispersed in synthetic resin 2, so conductive circuits are formed only by mutual contacting of the conductive fibers 3 and a sufficient number of conductive circuits are not formed. An electromagnetic shielding material 11 has conductive particles 4 dispersed in synthetic resin 2 together with conductive fibers 3 and conductive circuits are thereby easily formed, but the number thereof is insufficient. Alternatively, an electromagnetic shielding material 1 includes a certain volume of inexpensive non-conductive particles 5 in synthetic resin 2 as compared with conductive fibers 3 and conductive particles 4, so there is a great number of places where the conductive fibers 3 or conductive fibers 3 and conductive particles 4 come into contact with each other are obtained to form many conductive circuits, thereby sufficiently large electromagnetic wave shielding performance is obtained.
