PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a raw chestnut astringent skin-peeling device for quickly peeling softened astringent skins from astringent skin-softening treatment-finished raw chestnuts without injuring fleshes and without depending on the hands of a person. SOLUTION: The raw chestnut astringent skin-peeling device 1a includes a container 2 which has a closable opening 2a and receives the astringent skin-softening treatment-finished raw chestnuts 4 therein, and a projected portion 3a which is integrally disposed on at least one portion of the inner surface of the container 2 and directly contacts with the astringent skin-softening treatment-finished raw chestnuts 4 to peel the softened astringent skins, wherein in the projected portion 3a, a plurality of flexible projections 6 are densely projected, or a plurality of flexible linear bodies are densely aggregated.
