The arrangement (1) has a component carrier (4) with a passage opening (5) for receiving a module (2) e.g. sensor. An end (6) of the module is introduced into the passage opening such that the end dips from one side (4a) of the carrier to other side (4b) of the carrier. A splinter protective cover element (3) e.g. cap member, is permanently fixed at one of the sides of the carrier such that loosening of the module from the passage opening in the dipping direction (X) is permanently prevented by the cover element. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a carrier assembly arrangement.
