THICK PLATE SHEARING EQUIPMENT AND MEANDERING PREVENTING METHOD OF STEEL PLATE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide thick plate shearing equipment capable of reducing an installation space and expenses, and also to provide a meandering preventing method of a steel plate. SOLUTION: The thick plate shearing equipment includes a pinch roll having: a mechanism in which a pinch roll is movable in a shaft core direction without being restrained to cancel meandering generating force caused by an angle (θ) between a steel plate conveyance direction and a roll shaft core in an horizontal surface including the roll shaft core of right and left pinch rolls in a steel plate width direction by the displacement in the shaft core direction of the pinch roll while the steel plate travels at an ear part cutting machine or a dividing cutting machine; a mechanism for stopping movement in the shaft core direction of the pinch rolls to prevent the lateral displacement of the steel plate while shearing the steel plate with the ear part cutting machine or the dividing cutting machine; and a pinch roll diameter controlling mechanism for controlling occurrence of meander caused by the diameter difference of the left and right pinch rolls.
