<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fire-prevention structure for an outlet box having excellent construction workability even after the outlet box is installed on a wall, and excellent fire-resistant properties when the outlet box is directly exposed to flames during a fire. <P>SOLUTION: A fire-prevention structure for an outlet box is a structure for an outlet box that is installed on a wall so as to cover a through-hole in the wall. Electrical cables are inserted through an insertion hole in the outlet box. A heat-resistant sealing member is provided on the electrical cables passing through the insertion hole in the outlet box and is provided so as to seal a boundary between the outlet box and the wall. A heat-expanding fire-resistant sheet is inserted into a rear plate side within the outlet box so as to expand, when heated, in the direction towards the through-hole from the rear plate side of the outlet box. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
