METHOD OF MOLDING FOAMED MOLDED BODY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foamed molded body having excellent appearance and impact resistance and a method of molding the foamed molded body. SOLUTION: The method of molding the foamed molded body for an automobile component includes: a melting process of melting a fiber-reinforced polyolefin resin composition; a dissolving process of dissolving a physical foaming agent in the fiber-reinforced polyolefin resin composition in the molten state; a filling process of filling the fiber-reinforced polyolefin resin composition in a die cavity of a die for injection molding including a fixed side die, a movable side die coming into contact with the fixed side die and forming the die cavity between the movable die and the fixed die, a runner supplying molten resin to inside of the die cavity and a gate part having a runner side opening and a die cavity side opening and satisfying predetermined requirements; and a foaming process of increasing the volume of the die cavity by opening the die for injection molding by predetermined amount and foaming the fiber-reinforced polyolefin resin composition.
