<p>Disclosed is a microscope device which is reduced in size and cost, while maintaining excellent optical properties. Specifically disclosed is a microscope device (100) which is configured of an image forming optical system (10), an image pickup element (30), and illuminating devices (20) that are circularly arranged on the outer periphery of the image forming optical system (10). Each illuminating device (20) is configured of a light source (22) and a light collecting member (23) that is provided with: an incident surface (23a) on which the light from the light source (22) is incident; a first optical surface (23b) that reflects and collects the light entered from the incident surface (23a); a second optical surface (23c) and a third optical surface (23d) that reflect the light reflected by the first optical surface (23b); and an exit surface (23e) through which the light reflected by the third optical surface (23d) exits. Each illuminating device (20) is also configured so that a sample surface (O) is irradiated with the light that is exited from the exit surface (23e).</p> |
