<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an unauthorized transaction by notifying a customer of the fact that an automatic transaction device is operated using a card of the customer by electronic mail. <P>SOLUTION: The automatic transaction device 100 obtains customer information from a card inserted to an authentication medium handling part 104 and transmits the customer information to a host computer 200. When determining that it is needed to inquire the customer about the continuation of a transaction on the basis of the customer information, the host computer 200 prepares confirmation mail and transmits it to an information processing terminal 400. The customer who is the owner of the information processing terminal 400 inputs whether to continue the transaction to the information processing terminal 400 after confirming the confirmation mail. The information processing terminal 400 prepares return mail on the basis of the input and transmits it to the host computer 200.
