PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a differential amplifier capable of improving linearity in the vicinity of a power supply voltage of an input/output offset, and a source driver. SOLUTION: A differential amplifier 100 includes: a first differential couple 111 where one of coupled inputs forms a first input terminal IN1; a second differential couple 112 of the same conductivity type as the first differential couple 111 which is connected in parallel with the first differential couple 111 and in which one of coupled inputs forms a second input terminal IN2; and a first capability reduction circuit for reducing capabilities of the first differential couple 111 which operates when a first input voltage V<SB>in1</SB>inputted to the first input terminal IN1 is equal to or higher than an operational threshold of the first differential couple 111 and a second input voltage V<SB>in2</SB>inputted to the second input terminal IN2 is lower than an operational threshold of the second differential couple 112.
