Disclosed is a developer cartridge that is provided with a rotating body to be detected like a detection gear and so forth and is more convenient than in the past. The rotating body to be detected (50) has a first detection part (72) and a second detection part (73). Before the developer cartridge (7) is mounted inside a main casing (2), the rotating body to be detected (50) is in a state of not rotating by means of the driving power received by an input gear (45), that is, the rotating body to be detected (50) is in an state of being disconnected from the driving force from the input gear (45). In the process of mounting the developer cartridge (7) inside the main body casing (2), the second detection part (73) makes contact with an interfering member (91) fixedly arranged inside the main body casing (2). Hereby, the rotating body to be detected (50) rotates, and can rotate by means of the driving power received by the input gear (45). |
