PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stent delivery catheter in which a stent can be disposed with good operability even at a curved narrowing part and the drop or the movement of the stent does not occur. SOLUTION: The stent delivery catheter delivers the stent for treating the narrowed part in an organism to the narrowed part. The stent delivery catheter comprises a foldable balloon having a truncated conical shape tapered part and a cylindrical straight tube part at the distal end in such a manner that the stent is arranged in a contracted state on the outer surface of the folded balloon. The catheter further comprises an inner tube for forming a guide wire lumen extended in the balloon, and a movement preventing mechanism for preventing the catheter of the stent fixed only to the inner surface of the balloon from moving in a lengthwise direction. |
