Protective switch assembly for a solar module

The breaker has a controllable electrical switching unit serving as MOSFET (1) and including a switching line connectable parallel to a set of solar cells of a solar module. A supply circuit (50) provides a control voltage for controlling a control electrode of the MOSFET. An insulating circuit blocks the voltage over the switching line to the supply circuit and interconnects the voltage to the supply circuit, when the solar cells are shaded.
