<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for masking unfavorable smell and taste of a supplement beverage by which the unfavorable smell and taste of the supplement beverage containing a plurality of nutrients in a high concentration are improved without spoiling functionality of the nutrients. <P>SOLUTION: The method for masking unfavorable smell and taste of a supplement beverage includes (1) adding total of 0.0003-0.05 wt.% of thaumatin and acesulfame potassium as essential components based on 100 ml of the beverage containing the following nutrient components (a)-(c) each in an amount shown bellow: (a) 5-30 g of protein; (b) 500-3,000 mg of mineral and (c) 20-200 mg vitamins; wherein (2) the weight ratio is expressed by the acesulfame potassium: the thaumatin = (5:1) to (1,000:1).
