<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply system or the like allowing proper power supply between two devices of a side performing the power supply and a side supplied with power. <P>SOLUTION: This power supply system 201 has: a cable set C5 loading a non-volatile memory module M5; a keyboard 50 requiring the power supply through the cable set C5; and a printer 20 performing the power supply to the keyboard 50 through the cable set C5. The non-volatile memory module M5 stores power information related to power requirement of the keyboard 50. The printer 20 has: a power information reading means 294 reading the power information from the non-volatile memory module M5; a power supply distinction means 295 distinguishing whether the power supply is possible or not on the basis of the read power information; and a power supply control means 296 permitting the power supply to the keyboard 50 when it is decided that the power supply is possible. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
