The essence of the invention: a method for producing strengthened coatings on the copper alloy consists of applying chemical Ni-Co-P coating from an aqueous solution of salts of Ni and Co. To improve the application of chemical coating the recipe of Ni and Co salts of single sulfuric acid chosen. After strengthening for 45 min. the reinforced layer is formed with a thickness of 13-15 microns and microhardness of 6.5 GPa, which allows to increase the durability and service life of the dies for stamping. The fields of using of the invention are printing, machine building, instrument-making industry.
