<p>The present invention relates to a wind turbine (100) including blades (200) secured to a torque transmission hub (300). According to the invention, each blade (200) is made up of a first chord (210a) and a second chord (210b) secured about the hub (300) at the middle of the chords, and joined at one end in order to form said blade (200), the other end of each chord (210) forming one half of another blade (200). The energy collector of the wind turbine is obtained by securing the chords about the hub substantially at the middle and by arching the chords in order to join the ends of said chords two by two. Said simple structure, which is easy to assemble, provides an economic advantage for the wind turbine according to the invention. Furthermore, each chord is involved in the construction of two blades, thus increasing the rigidity of the wind turbine energy collector.</p> |
