<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sample analyzer, a method of obtaining sample identification information, and a sample identification information obtaining apparatus, properly obtaining identification information based on a barcode adhered on the top, even when an old barcode is partially exposed to the outside. <P>SOLUTION: A sample ID of a barcode label adhered to a sample container is read by a barcode reader two or more times while the sample container is rotated once. When a number of reading results is 5 or more (S203:NO) and a ratio of a number of sample ID occupying the majority to a total number of reading results is equal to or greater than a predetermined ratio R (S207:YES), the sample ID occupying the majority is employed as the sample ID of this sample container (S209). Accordingly, even when a barcode label is adhered over another barcode label on the sample container, a sample ID which should be employed as a true value is properly determined among the obtained plurality of sample IDs, and thus the accuracy of the finally obtained sample ID can be increased. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
