PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that variation in attracting force can not be suppressed by a method of bringing a movable armature into contact with a fixed armature like a conventional electromagnet device since magnetomotive force variance is caused by variation in attracting posture in operation, manufacture variance of a permanent magnet, and temperature variance no matter how large magnetic flux passing through an attracting surface is increased in absolute value. SOLUTION: A release type electromagnet device 1 includes the movable armature 6 held to freely protrude in a predetermined direction, a tripping spring which energizes the movable armature in the protruding direction, the permanent magnet 15 holding the tripping spring in an energy accumulation state, and a yoke constituting a magnetic path of magnetic flux from the permanent magnet through the movable armature and fixed armature.
