PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a negative electrode precursor material for a battery to obtain a negative electrode in which film-thinning is possible since Al current collector has superior adhesiveness with Sn plating film, and which has superior current collecting performance, and in which deformation and occurrence of dendrite at a time of movement is suppressed, the negative electrode precursor material, and the battery equipped with the negative electrode precursor material for the battery as the negative electrode. SOLUTION: A molten salt battery 1 is constituted by housing in the Al-made current collector 41 in an Al-made case 5 of nearly parallelepiped a positive electrode 2 composed by forming an active material film 22 on an Al-made current collector 21, a separator 3 composed of a glass cloth impregnated with a molten salt as an electrolyte, and the negative electrode 4 composed by forming a Zn coating film 42 and the active material film 43.
