The device has actuators (106-109) imprinting a torsion moment over a wheel of a car (101), and sensors (119-122) i.e. laser sensors, for measuring deformation of the car body, where the car body is fixable at a height over lifting jack retainers (102-105) of the car. The sensors evaluate deformation of the car body. The actuators are floatingly supported, and have vertically adjustable elevating platforms (110-113) per wheel of the car. The actuators are adjustable by a control unit (114), where the control unit actuates the actuators according to a given signal course. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for determination of deformation of a car body (2) a test stand for torsion measurement with a processing unit.
