<p>The invention relates to a device (1) for processing a batch of small light weight objects. The device comprises a tray filling section (3) configured for scattering small light weight objects on the top surface of a tray, an inspection section (5) configured for determining for each pocket of the array of pockets a quality measure associated with the object in said pocket, a selective removal section (4) configured for selectively removing objects from said array of pockets in dependence of the quality measure for each pocket and, a control unit (11) configured for controlling the tray filling section, the inspection section and the selective removal section. The device comprises a transportation unit (7) configured for repeatedly vice versa and linearly moving the tray from a first position (8) to a second position (9) along the tray filling section, inspection section and selective removal section.</p> |
