<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize a transformer by simplifying an insulation structure by inhibiting a high voltage from being impressed between adjacent secondary windings of the transformer to which a plurality of single-phase three-level inverter cells are connected. <P>SOLUTION: When first AC input terminals 11-14 of at least first and second single-phase three-level inverter cells S1, S2 are connected to secondary windings Ls1-Ls4 of the transformer 2, the first and second AC input terminals are connected to the secondary windings facing each other for either one of the single-phase three-level inverter cells and the first and second AC input terminals are connected to the secondary windings crossing each other for the other single-phase three-level inverter cells to inhibit a high voltage from being impressed between the adjacent secondary windings. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
