<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a band saw blade capable of achieving improvement of fatigue life and improvement of accuracy of a cutting surface. <P>SOLUTION: The band saw blade includes a plurality of saw teeth, includes a plurality of kinds of addendum pitches between respective saw teeth 3A-3G, includes a plurality of kinds of depths of gullets 5A-5G between the respective saw teeth, and includes a flat surface part 7A parallel to the longitudinal direction of the band saw blade at the bottom of the gullet 5A having the deepest gullet depth at the gullets 5A-5G. The depth of the gullets 5A-5G between the respective saw teeth corresponds to the size of the addendum pitches between the respective saw teeth. The band saw blade includes a plurality of addendum pitch groups having different addendum pitches between the respective saw teeth. The gullet depth of the addendum pitch group having a large addendum pitch is formed deeper than that of the addendum pitch group having a small addendum pitch. Respective gullet depths in the same addendum pitch group has the same depth. The band saw blade includes flat surface parts parallel to the longitudinal direction of the band saw blade at the bottoms of all gullets, and the number of the kinds of the gullet depths is smaller than that of the kinds of the addendum pitches. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
