PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile communication terminal for reducing a waiting time of a user, until a call starts in performing a CS fallback, and to provide a radio communication method. SOLUTION: When an input detection section 202 detects that a user input section 201 is in the process of inputting a phone number, while a mobile communication terminal 104 is connected to a PS network base station 101 (ST301), a cell changeover execution section 204 performs a handover request to the PS network base station 101 (ST302). The PS network base station 101 instructs the mobile communication terminal 104 to perform a handover to a CS network base station 102 (ST303). The cell changeover executing section 204 executes a handover on the CS network base station 102 (ST304). When the input detection section 202 detects the input completion of the phone number by the user input section 201 (ST305), the cell changeover execution section 204 performs a calling request to the CS network base station 102 (ST306).
