摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently adjust a variable distribution compensator and a delay interferometer in an optical receiver in an optimal manner. <P>SOLUTION: The optical receiver includes: a variable distribution compensator capable of varying a distribution compensation amount for a received optical signal; a delay interference unit for performing delay interference processing on the optical signal from the variable distribution compensator; a photoelectric conversion detector for performing photoelectric conversion detection on the optical signal from the delay interference unit to demodulate an electric information signal from differential phase modulation light; an identifiable reproducer for identifiably reproducing the demodulated electric information signal from the photoelectric conversion detector; an error corrector for correcting the identification error of the identifiably reproduced signal; an exclusive OR unit for exclusively performing OR of the identifiably reproduced signal; a distribution compensation controller for controlling the distribution compensation amount in the variable distribution compensator on the basis of a signal output from the exclusive OR unit; and a delay interferometer controller for detecting the number of error corrections from parallel electric information signals in the error corrector and controlling the delay interferometer of the delay interference unit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
