<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting element, related components, a system, and a method. <P>SOLUTION: The light-emitting element 100 includes: a light generation region 130; and a multilayer laminate 122 made of a plurality of materials including a first layer supported by the light generation region. A surface of the first layer is formed so that light generated by the light generation region can be discharged through the surface of the first layer from the light-emitting element. The surface of the first layer includes a dielectric function changing spatially according to a non-periodical pattern, and is composed so that light is radiated from a light-emitting system when light generated by the light generation region is radiated through the surface of the first layer from the light-emitting element. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
