PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alarm sound generating device of a vehicle capable of giving an alarm sound, when alarm sound generating operation is basically turned on, while turning off the alarm sound generating operation by operation of a driver. SOLUTION: In this alarm sound generating device of the vehicle, even if generation of the alarm sound is prohibited by an alarm sound prohibiting means (ON of a silencing switch) for prohibiting generation of the alarm sound by an alarm sound generating means at a low vehicle speed, when a vehicle speed V exceeds a predetermined vehicle speed 30 km/h, generation prohibition of the alarm sound is released. Thus, even when forgetting to release the generation prohibition of the alarm sound, when the vehicle speed V exceeds the predetermined vehicle speed 30 km/h, the generation prohibition of the alarm sound is automatically released, to thereby avoid an evil of being no use of an alarm when an alarm sound ungenerating state continues.
